0607 Summit Nomads

October 20, 2006

These are poplar/birch wood core tip to tail, fiberglass, graphite sintered bases and so smooth to ride. Top sheets are durable and functional as they dampen the ride and allow a smooth flex. Price is $269 without bindings. 4 hole pattern. The Carbon fiber top sheet is quite rare and there will only be a small number. The top sheet is strong yet lighter than the Aluminum top sheet. It is $15 more.

  1. Excellent kind! I Hope their characteristics as are fine! I wish begin the dealer in Russia that our guys could have such fine skis.

  2. Summit impressed me with their line up last season, looks like they are about to do it again!

  3. The aluminum topsheet ones are painfully ugly for me to look at…

  4. ya thats the only thing i dislike about summit, their aesthetics have never been too stellar. technically they seem to be amazing boards tho.

  5. I wonder if anyone have had any problems with their summit nomads. I used mine for one week and they look like they have been through several seasons of hard wear, the top of them is simpley peeling away all over.

  6. Jane stop wondering! I just purchased the Marauder 125, used them for maybe one week and the the urethane UV protecting fancy top layer is peeling as if I had used them for many years. I also have the Salomon 99s from 05-06. I have used them a lot, and their edge construction is much more durable. The “sandwich” layering of the Summits makes them extremely brittle and easy to chip, even waiting for the lift with the boarders and skiers.
