Strictly Skiboards from Japan

November 26, 2006

Shown at Belleayre Rail Jam, these skiboards come straight from Japan from a company called Strictly who also makes skis and snowboards.

Dean Kistler from the ISF is the North American Representative for them. I found the graphics pretty well done on the right skiboards, I liked the detail of beveled white characters.

The dimensions from what I remember are 99 cm long, 125/99/120 with a 6 meter turning radius. They are also set back 2 or 3 cm.

Other then that they are extremely thick, extremely stiff. They are built like tanks, and probably ride like tanks too.

  1. so when you say they ride like tanks is that a good thing or a bad thing?

  2. watch what dean says…. take it all with a grain of salt.

  3. well, skip, i haven’t ridden them myself, but from what i saw, they might be way to stiff to properly use the sidecut when turning or carving, and they are pretty heavy, like bricks under your feet.

  4. Just surfing around and found out that the boards on the left are Strictly, but the board on the right is made by a company called Bluemoris. Boards are called Kage.

  5. sorry forgot the linkage:

  6. Strictly are made in Bluemoris, its manufacturer.. !

  7. Does that mean they are really one in the same?

  8. ofcorse, all those, Strictly, THESKI, and all other Bluemoris - they all are one piece: by these numbers:
