These are some of the faces of modern day skiboarding. These are the people who make the sport.
SBOL, Revel8 and Loken riders came together for the first time of the 2007 season for the Belleayre Mtn, NY Thanksgiving RailJam. Revel8 rider Ben Wannamaker came in second out of 120 skiers and snowboarders
Jason Jordahl is the newest member of the Loken Skiboard Team. Jason will be riding on ApeTorch skiboards.
The two top skiboard manufacturers Revel8 Skiboards of Brewster, New York and Summit Skiboards of Bayfield, Colorado sent this week some of their best 06-07 skiboards to Romania.
• Revel8 sent the Ben Wannamaker Pro 98cm and Tansho 90cm models
• Summit sent their Nomad 99cm model
The American boards will be used by the new Romanian skiboarding team that will start training within the next two weeks for the February 2007 - SKIBOARD WORLD CUP.

Headquarters of the new Romanian Skiboarding Promotion Association, located in Busteni
While preparing to host the First Skiboard World Cup, the Romanians formed the first ever National Skiboarding Promotion Association.
The board of the new organization include:
- the mayors of Busteni, Predeal, Sinaia and Azuga
- the owners of all Prahova Valley ski slopes
- ski lifts, snow making and grooming equipment owners
- hotel and business owners.
The Prahova Valley (Valea Prahovei) will be the first winter resorts in the world, officially declared and promoted for skiboarding.
World Skiboard Association was also informed that World Cup – Romania 2007, arrangements are on schedule and all operations will be completed by January 15, 2007.
