Skiboarding is the Safest Snow Sport!

The Association Médecins de Montagne, a french association for medical service at ski hills, have been been looking at injury data since the late 80’s. They have concluded that “mini-skis” or skiboards are the safest ski tools of the slopes! Twice as safe as snowboarding (skiing is 1.5 times safer then snowboading.)

SkateSliders!

February 12, 2007

SkateSliders give you the ability to use your inline skates on snow! Simply take off the wheels, and attach the SkateSlider in their place! The contact surface does not need to be waxed and ensures absolute tracking accuracy, so basically, it’s just a piece of plastic.

If you ask me this is totally useless! Why one would want to use their inline skate boots for skiing is beyond my comprehension because they are not insulated or water proof, not to mention that they probably ski like the old Sled Dogs, which failed misserably because you couldn’t take them anywhere other then a perfectly groomed slope, and landing tricks was near impossible.

Here’s a video of some people trying them out.
