Summit Marauder 125cm
August 23, 2007
Rebecca Koeppen, a talented Southwest Colorado artist, lends her skills to design the new Summit Marauder graphics due out in September. The board was design with powder hounds and speed demons in mind. 14.7cm at the tips and 11cm at the waist with a 4.5 cm high tips.
Note: The picture above is a rendition of the graphics, not the shape of the boards.

am i the only one who thinks they look ugly as hell?
cant say i am a fan of them. great idea tho.
i kinda like them…they remind me of the graphics on an old crotch rocket (katana maybe)
Nice graphics / if ouy looking for 2008 seasson snowboards look at new Burton boards. Rgds R
Well, the designs is kind of…. what should I say betwen eclectic and dreamcatchy!
Can’t get the thunder in red….
I could be nicer, defenitely!
The durability is questionable. Mine look pretty bad after one day. The are very brittle specially the top cover layer on the edges. Very fast and smooth though.
I bought a pair of these on sale for the heck of it. These fat baby boards will have all you old school skiers riding with your feet in a more open stance in no time… My first impression was that these look like two kids snowboards-one for each foot. Riding wise I’ve used these once so far for an hour. After a half hour getting used to these Marauder Skiboards I began to trust enough that I could lay the boards all the way over like a snowboard and these will hold and rail. I really had to contort my stance compared to Alpine low fats. My downhill skis almost felt like Tele afterwards. My first few runs back on my race skis were amazing after an hour on the skiboards.
Reservations- go shorter length for Midwest and short hills, although the long length will rock more I would think for bigger people, and those with big feet. I can see where the tops on the 125cm will take some beating if either a) you ride with your feet too close, or b) for skating and the park there would be alot of board getting in the way.
All in all, I would say these would be more fun in powder and choppy snow. The majority of riders would do better with less sidecut.
Thanks for your post Barry!
