old skiboarding style is so much better then our pros no a days. our pros suck compared to these guys.
but you knw- nowadays are different - those days sport was PUSHED UP artificially !!! Now sport goes UP by it self and own power from our own riders, not MEDIA or TV or mainstream.
I can say like - if you plant a vegetable, it can grow slowly - but it will be FREE of bad substances, but when you put on the plant some chemicals - it will grow FASTER, but full of chemical shit - u know i mean
the energy has shifted away from big air to technical slides. Allz you are right back in the day it was all about pleasing the crowd so they just did big airs for ESPN, now we can evolve naturally, and that direction is focusing on rails/boxes, and more stylish/technical/creative tricks.
BUT - i’ve never said - I DO NOT LIKE BIG JUMPS … i like to se them, i hope there gonna be more and more riders/skiboarders who CAN do BIG airs, i like that !
ya that’s true also, big air is awesome, but jumps are not where skiboards can excel when compared to snowboarding/skiing. skiboards are the tools for the job for jibbing.
