Lacroix Carbon 125cm Longboard Skiboards

February 26, 2008

lx125.jpg

Lacroix is famous for using exotic materials in their skis and now they have brought a bit of the luxury to their skiboard line with full carbon fiber top sheets. Lacroix’s 125cm Longboard skiboards are the longest in their line up and are designed for the skiboarder looking for maximum stability and float but with a small turn radius never letting you forget you’re still on a pair of skiboards. Lacroix has been making skis since 1966 so you know these babies are high quality.

Materials used are carbon fiber, translucid ptex 2000 base-laminated and horizontal
woodcore-carbon-vibrachoc on tip and tail-PNS rubber-fiberglass with
different angles and weight.

These use the 4×10 binding insert pattern to be mounted with Spruce Riser Bindings.

They are 14.8 cm wide at the tips, and 11.8 cm wide at the waist and have a running length of 100 cm.

You can buy these at SBOL

Zero Bindings Out Now!

February 26, 2008

zero_stock.jpg

The Zero Pro bindings have arrived!

There hasn’t been anything new in the realm of non-release skiboard bindings for years, until now. Zero has stepped up and produced a completely new binding incorporating the thickest bails, base and riser in the industry along with a ton of extra mounting holes for positive and negative stance adjustments to help you with your powder or ice riding.

These weight 3.8lbs which make them the beefiest non-release bindings out at the moment. They have a contact length of 245mm and sturdy 6mm bails.

Work with all ski boots and hardshell snowboarding boots from sizes 4-13.

Red and Blue bindings will be out next week.

You can get these at SBOL

Dave Lynam Riding for Revel8

February 18, 2008

dave_r8.jpg

Dave Lynam, formerly riding for the now defunct Loken Skiboards is now riding for Revel8 Skiboards. Dave has actually been using Revel8 skiboards since the beginning of the season, his skiboards of choice were the Revolt Cities until recently, when he picked up his older brother Adam Lynam’s limted edition pro boards. Dave also rocks a pair of Spruce 120’s which he won at the Wachussets Triple Challenge a few years ago.

I’m really excited to be riding for what I think to be one of (if not) the best quality companies in the world. I wouldn’t be riding for anyone unless I was sure about the product and the company. In this case, I’m working with the best people for the job. - Dave
