Hack Projekt Gothic 2008
February 5, 2008
Hack is a skiboard brand from the Czech Republic. Up above is the Projekt Gothic, a 99 cm skiboard 13.5 cm wide at the tips, and 10.2 cm at the waist with a 6 meter turning radius.
These come with the standard 4×4 inserts, as well as multiple other binding options; 8-Hole plastic bindings for lower cost, releasable bindings, snowboard soft boot bindings, and 8-hole Alpine Tourning non-releasable bindings.
Hack also has a more narrow directional shape for other models that measures 99 cm long, 11.8 cm wide at the front, 8.7 cm wide under the feet, and 10.6 cm wide at the tails with with a 6.5 meter turning radius. These also have multiple binding options, as well as the skiboard standard 4×4 binding inserts.
Skiboard.cz is where you can get these.

Thats pretty awesome … I’m actually really stoked about this.. another company realizing what a “true” skiboard is!!!
mmm they have the blunt tips too
link is broken
they also look nice!
my opinion for nowdays skiboarding industry:
its not a nice web page or shop which is not taking place in skiboarding community, which is not sponsoring riders or which is not providing videos/photos and is not inside something…
i call this - SIMPLE selling ans thats CRAP !
SBOL - biggest community in world+videos+pics+team etc.etc..
SBmag - no coments - fully in all ways of skiboarding
..so examples i gave now proves right way of what skiboarding participant must be.
We have the same thing in Europe - exclaimskiboards, skiboardsS.cz, lv, ru… we all know who is where and doing what and thats really nice we ae pushing sport together…
THING with this PROJEKT - shit, can not say i LIKE it or something… as i know - this is the example of NOT NICE skiboarding project..
ASK Jiri.. he knows better about this Czech project.
skiboard.cz (see without S) - is that i said - SIMPLE selling, no feelings, no soul… so forget it.
yes someone can say, nice boards, sport is growing.. nah,.. i dont think so.
i see nothing but wrong direction of that guy, its all about the same as SALOMON did..
true skiboarders know, and feel different from snowblade ppl.
ok, enough said, just i let ya all know - officialy i say: this thing is not good. and i know some others think the same, and i want to hear more from Jiri.. please comment on me.
i just looked at the other hack boards…and they are all really just like snowblades…actually now that i look at skiboard.cz they sell alot of subar products at least in relation to SBOL…they kind of remind me of skiboards.com in a way becasue they sell everything.
yeah - no soul - just money and numbers…
i must admit tho, the option of all those kinds of binding is very smart.
I like them and don’t see a problem with anything about them. They, by giving the option of the other bindings, are trying to appeal to the average teenage consumer that can’t aford the top of the line bomber elite or spruce rizers. Don’t get me wrong, if I had the money I would go out and buy myself some R8 condors and spruce risers but I don’t have $450 to spend on a new pair of skiboards. If I can find some where to buy them with american money and they where resonably priced I might buy them with the release bindings. Help me find somewhere to buy them where I know the price.
true, but i think what allz was eludting to is the fact that they dont sponsor riders or events. skiboardS (with an S) support brands that support and sponsor riders and events.
Dennis - you can choose other boards, cheaper… in the same SBOL - you have a choice and what i wanted to say:
even if thats few $$ cheaper in other places, remember, some e-shops and brands DO NOT sponsor or do anything for skiboarding at all… just by giving choice and cheap boards they are not helping for sport.. !!!
allz,
why rip on emm? im not sure but it sounds like the first skiboard company to come out of the check rebublic, they could grow you never know…. plus you own a skiboard co. so it just seems like a low blow in my opinion, i mean are you really trying to save the world from buying bad skiboards or trying to get more customers without offending the all mighty revel 8 and sbol…leave it up to the public..not saying your points werent good points.
that being said the boards look awesome
i guess im a fan of the dark imagery
emp
ENO:
no - i have been here for ages, as allz, and i am allways talking like in person not like company. You see - skiboarding ind. is differente from simple ind. where ppl think only about money and so on…
allz - is a person and company as from board producing side, when i say smthng personal - i say in like - allz - Martins Miculis.
STILL - i am waiting here to hear from JIRI .. the skiboards.cz guy - bcs he is from the same country and he knows this situation better.
i just said my opinion on how i have seen and see this skiboard.cz !!!
peace
nothing personal just a friendly debate.
anyways its not like salomon didnt sponsor riders even though they had a foam core…but they also had alot more money to back it…that this company probably doesnt have right now.
yes - they sponsorED !!! after money didnt come along they stopped to sponsor.
for now - i see companies giving back and doing good for sport and i say - go for those who do it.
i agree with you money should not be why you ride..or own a company..and core companys are where its at…but whos to say that because a skiboard that has foam in it, is not a “core” company…
as a skiboarder i really wonder who paid better LINE or SALOMON…sadly It just might be why alot of riders vanished….
EThan, as i told everything i told - about this projekt… is only thing that they never been in the move, they gave nothing for skiboarding in general,…
skiboards.cz - with Jiri have been doing a lot and i say: buy from them not from skiboard.cz…
- bcs skiboard.cz = “0″ giveback
and
- skiboards.cz = a lot of good for skiboarding as a sport.
So i say nothing about foam or wood or designs, i talk about idea and real things, some activities..!
allz,
no you didnt say anything about the cores i did(you said they were cheap) and i guess i was just speaking in general not just about this board..
skiboards.cz is where its at, no debate there my friend
Hi guys,
I don’t know a lot about this company. http://www.hackboards.cz is a little Czech producer of snowboards and short skis, they are producing short skis about 3-4 yers (all with plastic bindings for now). I mean that project Gothic is a cooperation between Hack and Skiboard.cz(snowblade.sk). I think that this is a reaction to my website and to publicity in magazins about World Cup and others….. Czechs are very enterprising nation, they see that I’m selling skiboards here so that they want selling “true” skiboards too. I think that they have only few pairs for testing now.
skiboards.cz
only good thing i could see in future - they do some promotions/sponsoring/videos/photos…
otherwise,…
entertaining job is for Jiri, and selling for skiboard.cz ? thats not fair ! i know its not easy, but, here is situation when riders can check out, which company is doing good, from which web site or project comes some nice things, and therefore - doing good is buying from those who do something for rides, and not just simply sell.. simple selling is easier than communicating with all, entertaining and sponsoring.
i know how it is, i know skiboarder.ru works hard, and all others… big ups
p.s.
Thanks Jiri for answer !
its definatly better to support brands that support skiboarding.
even if these skiboards might be great, which they look really good, the money is leaking out of the industry because the profits from skiboard.cz (without the s) are going to the comapanies it carries such as K2, Salomon, head which dont invest back into the sport of skiboarding.
Revel8, Spruce, AllZ, skiboardS.cz and others re-invest into the sport by sponsoring riders, events, videos ect.
without these kinds of dollards we will loose our pro riders, companies will shrink and our sport will digress back into novelty.
everytime you buy from a non-core skiboard company, ben wannamaker eats plain toast for supper.
and the graphics are real original too.
http://www.hackboards.com/katalog/snowboardy-2007/snowboard-design-701.html
yeah lets not give those fuckers anything.!SBOL!Americans will never have the chance to ride hack
Okay guy’s, now I get it. You don’t want people to buy off brands because they don’t support the skiboarders. I agree and will now avoid getting these and support american economy, but censor, was that really necisary? I can understand their “lack of creativity”, just because it’s not brand new that’s no reason to get all pissy, you ever think that that may be a popular design with their snowboards or mabe a logo or style thing. I think the consept of all products with the same design, this just shows that it was a model year, that is how I would do it anyway, that is if I had several differant branches of a company (twintips, snowboards, skiboards). Each would be labeled with the year and designer’s at the waist and model somewhere else on the plank.
Point is don’t get pissed just becuase you don’t like it there may be an ingenius concept behind it.
Dennis, this is not about american economy its about putting your dollars in the right spot for the sport.
AllZ is a brand from Europe, Strictly is from Japan, Exclaim makes bindings risers and they are from the UK. they all support skiboarding.
I know what it is, and I agree with you. Last night I couldn’t come up with the wording I wanted even though it was allready used above. I do want to get some good skiboards but right now I can’t aford them, and am just trying to get something compareable.
I still love the allz design even though
even if you don’t have “core” brand skiboards, you are still supporting the sport by visiting this website and by strapping on short sticks. give youself a pat on the back
Yea… at first glance I just categorized them as another SnowJam type company making half decent boards. The good thing to this though, is that these kinds of companies see what real skiboards are and we are demanding. I’d rather have kids start out on these then crappy snowblades. Plus, 4×4 inserts let you upgrade to better boards cheaper and easier. Serious riders will still go for core companies who reinvest in the sport.
well i really hate to tell you but censor me is me ethan mitchell and i only said it to try to get across a point….i was sponsored by revel8 for a couple years and when it first started all i got was a pair of boards so….what can you expect from a new company? you can only hope for them to grow no matter what shop there being sold from!….no offense to yuri and alzz!!!!!!!by the way i ride THE SKI so is that catagorized as a ski blade because it has a foam core and is shaped like a mini SKI? rather than 2 mini skiboards?
rather than 2 mini snow boards anyway
