SKI BLADES WITH SNOWBOARD BINDINGS AND BOOTS — The skier shown is of upper intermediate standard and demonstrates the versatility of FATblades. To accommodate any snowboard boot binding, the patented and design protected FATblades are 16.5cm wide at the narrowest point. Being FAT (like fat boy skis) but short (82cm) like ski blades or skiboards, the “FATblader” is able to demonstrate great performance and versatility. Using FATblades promotes more of a shoulder width skiing stance which is great for stability and comfort. The use of snowboard bindings and boots gives the FATblades more of a cool snowboard style. Every snowboarder should carry a spare pair in their snowboard case. Items are flat when unscrewed from the bindings and will also fit into a large suitcase. Great fun for snowboarders who want to ski without losing their cool snowboarding style. Great for skiers who prefer the comfort and style of snowboard boots and clothing. Watch traditional Swiss / Alpine style skiers struggle through powder as you float past them on FATblades. Fantastic to use — A real breakthrough!

Two seasons ago a company long in the making from Norway made its first appearance on the skiboarding world. Loken Industries set out to bring high quality skiboard gear to a starved sport.
Loken skiboards got great reviews from all around the skiboarding industry. But unfortunatly wasn’t able to keep up with the market. Ola Loken explains “The weak U.S Dollar fucked it up for me.., it’s friggin crazy, the USD dropped down 35% on me since I started Loken”
Loken in is the process of trying to reorganize for the future. Ola: “No givin up yet.., trying to reorganize..” No word yet on what goods are being planned for or when, but Ola had this to say about the skiboarding industry as it is now:
“I’ve been in this since ‘97, and we never had one over [100cm] before a couple of years ago.. I just want to keep it at a level where Skiboarding is skiboardin, man.. Not where some guy’s dad accidentily pics up a pair of [ski]boards instead of a new set of skis for his preppy son..”

Zero bindings will be soon in stores in about 2 weeks. Coming in four flavour; natural (silver), red, blue or green to mix and match with skiboard graphics. Only the bail plates and front leaver will be coloured. Inspired by the late great FF Pro bindings, these feature ten binding holes for set back or set forward, and addition 1/8 inch rubber.

Pro inline skater Borja Fernandez is listed as a pro rider for Revel8 on the WSA’s Euro Cup / Romanian Open participants list.
