  8. having seen his girlfriend, i can safely say he is not a homosexual.

althought i don’t see what would be wrong with him being one as you suggest, if he where.

  14. the EMPs are the same as last year’s Revolts, everyone who rode them including the team loved them so im guessing theres not much difference.

  15. the tip and tail hight are the same with the emp’s

  16. no the tails are just a bit shorter 5.0/4.6 but i dont think the difference is big enough for anyone to notice.

  19. which boot would you recomend for skiboarding?

  20. i’d go with the SPK, but they are both good.

    i’m diggin the wideness ..

    what is their lengths

  22. Joe has the limited edition Loken CT8 El Bajongs, 14 or 15 wide at the tips. 99.8cm long.

    i have the revel8 tanshos 14 wide i believe, 90cm long

  23. jason roussel what bindings?

  24. on the tanshos SnowJam X-II

    on the grooves Canon TD-1

  25. Whats with the dude with the skis?

  26. These are mine, they are 120’s and ride more like skibords than skis, from what I feel when I ride. I am getting some real skiboards this year.

  27. Some one wanna tell me if the Allz 94cm are any good?

  28. the allz look hella sweet, depends on what kind of riding, your skill level and what you want to do with them.

  29. me and others use them for – all round, easy or aggressive riding.. from A to Z ! ;)

  30. Kirk S….is the pornstar of skiboarding haha

  31. you only wish Ty haha
although a bare a$$ run down the Mtn. would be funny haha

  32. I saw a video of skiboarding and I fell in love! I’m a beginner skier, but I’ve gotten really good at it and find that the length of the ski bothers me. Case in point, I’m a blader, and I love the idea of these skiboards! However, what would be good for a beginner? In which I want to also ski the mountain as well as start to do tricks.

  33. how tall are you and how much do you wieght?

  34. yayguhbahm

  35. Без особого преувеличения можно сказать, что пост тему раскрыл на все 100 процентов. :)

  36. Who’s that sexy beast at the top? oh wait that’s me. lol

  37. I’m excited to buy the 09′ Revel8 Mary Jane.
Suped for the upcoming season and the newly discovered Skiboarding scene I’ve stumbled upon online & on the East Coast of the US. Here’s the problem:

My boyfriend and I ALMOST purchased an Atomic 123 and Elan 99 CM Skiboards (blade in their language) both with integrated binding systems.

The Circumstance: With this integrated binding – I can change the 4×4 to 4×2 binding stance without tools. Nice for Powder. It’s also extremely flexible and since it’s built into the board’s core – there’s obviously ZERO room for independent movement between the binding and ski. I know the less movement between binding and ski – the better stability and more control…

However, I don’t want to buy a board from a Company who won’t even feature their skiboard products in their little Flash Website Interfaces. They don’t support events, sponsor riders or help the skiboarding community in ANYWAY whatsoever.

So I’m very familiar with their tyrolia integrated binding system but there’s a scarce amount of information about the Spruce Sport, Pro-Lite & Prime Releasable Binding Systems on the web. I’ve read it all but I need an expert to help explain the benefit of using said riser bindings. The Revel8 Boards you simply can’t argue with – they’re the sh1t – but if I can’t have an integrated & releasable binding – is it worth it? And is it comparable to the new integrated binding technology found on the Big Company Products?

Not as important but anyone know much about the EXCLAIM Riser Plate – is that meant for the Spruce Releasable Systems?

  38. riding non-releasable bindings, is regarded as generally safe provided you are in the recommended height bracket. With that said, added safety doesnt hurt, if you are willing to pay for it.

the Spruce bindings are the best choice for releasables on skiboards. They allow the skiboards to flex properly, and use the standard 4×4 system. (atomic and elan dont use this) so, you have just as much control over your skiboards as with integrated bindings, but also the skiboards have maximum of flex.

the integrated binding systems used by the big companies work great for full length skis, but in practice the system doesnt transfer very well onto shorter lenghts because they reduce the flex by a lot. this is a pretty big problem with big brand “skiblades” they try to apply technologies and systems from skis to “skiblades” which sounds great but sometimes doesnt work that great.

the only thing Spruce and Revel8 make are skiboard products, althought they are pretty new brands they have spent years developing their products, and how to make them work best, i know them the owner personally, one has been into skiboard for over a decade, the other, an engineer/skiboarder whos been pushing the technology of skiboards every year. rest assured, revel8 and spruce brands will not disappoint.

the Exclaim are pretty similar to the spruces, from what ive seen they have a lower center of gravity, but they come from the UK so youd have to import them. i hear they work just as well.

  39. by the way if you want to know more about the Spruce bindings, go to http://www.spruceski.com

you can even contact the owner Jeff and im sure he’d be more than happy to talk to you about the bindings more in depth than i can.

  40. roussel you sound like the guru here man i am just starting out and i want some all around skiboards that are pretty durable i dont land much

  41. last one has those rossignol hard soft thing boots
I tried them yesterday and they were horrible to my feet (paaaain) xD
I suppose every foot is different, and every hawfull bandana too xD

  42. rossignols are made for wide feet.

I have the same boots and they dont fit my feet well, but i love the flex in them, and they fact they are low boots.

  43. I’ve got some Atomic Hawx80 boots and I really like those. They have a variety of flex ratings and don’t understand why you don’t see more about them.

Anyway, Roussel… it just dawned on me who you look like-Andy Sanberg from Saturday Night Live. Don’t know if anyones told you that but you do.

  44. Great photos!

Nice to see all the boarders.

You guys need to do some work on the action photos though. Been printing up some skiboard photos for my wall and not much hi grade stuff out there.
